We are actively seeking a qualified Sales Support Specialist to become an integral part of our dynamic sales team, The role centers on servicing and maintaining designated accounts in collaboration with the sales team.
Account maintenance involves providing support to customers through diverse communication channels and portals.
Responsibilities also encompass managing projects in Excel, confirming pricing, overseeing order fulfillment, and handling tasks such as requesting freight quotes and processing order entries.
Additionally, the position involves efficiently managing the orders pending approval report by promptly addressing order discrepancies with customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities: Account Servicing and Retention: Service and retain assigned accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty Comprehensive Account Maintenance: Perform comprehensive account maintenance and handle various administrative tasks to support seamless operations Project Execution and Data Management: Execute projects involving product uploads, portal management, and data entry, utilizing spreadsheet manipulation skills Daily Task Management: Manage daily tasks, including pricing updates, responding to phone calls and emails, obtaining freight quotes, and overseeing the open order report Order Processing and Transaction Management: Efficiently process and enter orders, including payment transactions Proactive Customer Communication: Proactively contact customers to obtain missing information, confirm pricing details, and address any order discrepancies promptly CRM Record Management: Create and maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system (Salesforce) to facilitate effective communication and streamlined processes OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Interacting with other departments including customer service, purchasing, marketing, accounting, order entry Other duties and projects as assigned SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Proven work experience as a Sales Administrator or Sales Support Representative Experience managing customer accounts including pricing, freight quotes and order entry Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Attention to detail High proficiency in problem solving Strong written and verbal skills EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 3-5 years sales experience College degree preferred Computer equipment and level of software requirements: Intermediate Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) Outlook and Teams Experience using CRM (Salesforce strongly preferred) Experience using ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) to review sales orders, customer, pricing, sales, product data, etc.
