As the Brand Manager of North America Portfolio & Claims Strategy you will report to the Director, Brand Owner and be responsible for developing portfolio & claims strategy in line with identified audience & brand heart and work with the innovation team in identifying the brand relevant innovations.
The brand manager will also track velocities , update assortment in partnership with CAT MAN team.
Lastly the brand manager will deliver winning portfolio vs.
Competition and develop relevant marketing & functional claims in line with EPA approved registration.
The Pest Control North America Business Unit is structured to generate Competitive Advantage for USA, Canada and PR capitalizing on the Prioritization, Speed and Agility to Win with Consumers.
The Business Unit will have the benefit of leveraging interdependencies when needed as a resource and where scale adds value.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Set the direction for short to long term portfolio strategy for assigned brands (covering price tiers, Segmentation Strategy, Bug Type, etc.
) in line with the relevant audience, corporate goals and Strat 2025 (our SCJ priorities) leveraging consumer insights
Craft individual brand purpose including sustainability (where applicable)
Develop brand claim strategy and short to long term roadmap of milestones.
Develop Holistic brand design and identity, visual brand languages
Integrated Growth Planning responsibilities as it relates to problem to solve alignment, Portfolio prioritization, product innovation etc.
Required Skills/Experience /Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of related work experience or 3-5 years with an advanced degree
Preferred Skills/Experience/Competencies:
Advanced degree
In addition to traditional brand management expertise, it would be valuable if the candidate has spent time in other functional roles such as marketing commercialization, insights, category management, etc.
