MARKET RESEARCH MANAGER III

Location: North Chicago, Illinois Job Type: Contract Compensation Range: $75 - 110 per hour We are looking for a skilled and motivated Market Research Manager to support our client's Global Market Analytics and Business Intelligence (GMABI), responsible for helping internal partners/stakeholders make informed strategic and operational decisions for their Immunology group.
As a Market Research Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading our client's Business Intelligence efforts to drive strategic decision-making.
You will independently oversee the planning, implementation, and communication of results, ensuring alignment with brand strategies and objectives.
Additionally, you will manage all aspects of Business Intelligence, from initiating the RFP process to budget management and vendor selection.
Your responsibilities will include serving as the lead for the Rheum asset, guiding brand strategy, advising on key initiatives, and fostering relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities: Independently lead Business Intelligence planning, implementation, and communication of results.
Manage all aspects of project planning, including coordination, setting timelines, and presenting findings.
Serve as the GMABI lead for the Rheum asset, guiding brand strategy and advising on key initiatives.
Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to co-create and execute plans.
Proactively identify new data sources and analytics opportunities to enhance decision-making.
Lead commercial competitive intelligence efforts to anticipate competitor strategies.
Provide insights on current dynamics and future market evolution to guide strategy development.
Lead initiatives to improve GMABI insights and analytics capabilities.
Ensure all activities are conducted on time, within budget, and in accordance with ethical guidelines.
Qualifications: Experience level: Manager BA or BS degree required.
Advanced degree (e.
g.
, MBA or MA) preferred.
Degree concentration in marketing research, marketing, or social sciences.
Statistical knowledge is a plus.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Marketing Analytics and Business Intelligence, including a strong working knowledge of key data sources and analytics approaches to gaining insights in pharmaceuticals or healthcare at the global and country level.
Experience developing and executing primary market research plans and global marketing analytics.
Experience analyzing and drawing insights from quantitative and secondary data sets.
Global pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience, Immunology experience is a plus Excellent strategic thinking and thought leadership with strong story telling capabilities.
Possess a strong understanding of ex-US secondary data and syndicated sources and their strength and weaknesses.
Analytical reasoning abilities, intellectual curiosity, strong business acumen, and creativity in problem solving, including developing and testing simple hypotheses using available data including market dynamics (share and total volume) trends in Microsoft Excel.
Experience influencing cross-functional, global and affiliate teams.
Ability to interact effectively with/present to (verbally and in writing) all levels of the organization.
Ability to be agile & nimble to changing business conditions, strong collaboration, and teamwork across functional groups to contribute to a productive work culture.
Lead strategically and create trust and respect within the department.
