This is an individual contributor role and does not have any direct reports.

Education/Experience Requirements-Training Manager Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field required Minimum five years applicable experience in field sales training Medical device sales training experience preferred but not required Working knowledge regarding health economics, managed care organizations, public health policy and programs and clinical/hospital environment preferred Experience working within matrix organizations and cross functional teams Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities Experience working in an environment with global objectives Essential Responsibilities-Training Manager Create, monitor, and enforce onboarding process for all customer facing personnel ensuring 100% completion of onboarding curriculum and tasks across multiple departments.
Own ongoing updates and enhancements to Foundations Training programs to meet the evolving needs of our sales teams.
Drive collaboration with cross-functional teams within Medela that interface with and impact sales content, process, and CRM in order to gain alignment, consistency, and automation across the organization, streamlining the sales and sales enablement processes.
Accountable for identifying, developing, and fostering business relationships with key outside parties that will support the business plans and growth objectives of the business.
Identify and assess current and future training needs through close collaboration with key internal stakeholders.
Effectively execute within a matrix organization and facilitate results through the development of strong partnerships with counterparts at Medela with a particular emphasis on Sales, National Accounts, Product Management, and Channel Management and Customer Service.
Provide direction on the use and maintenance of Seismic as well as manage the governance of content, delivery of content, and usage of content during the sales cycle by the sales team on an ongoing basis.
Lead educational review committee; ensure trainers and content meet Medela standards prior to use.
Oversee training materials, ensure content is updated; suggest and implement improvements.
Validate that the training program is showing effectiveness through the implementation of training surveys, gaining feedback from focus groups, and working closely with sales leadership.
Stay current on new products, existing product enhancements, and sales initiatives to ensure that learning objectives and training material are up to date.
Work closely with members of the management team to ensure the appropriate creation and execution of learning and development content, programs, and platforms in support of the company’s marketing and business plans This is not a job description, more details will be provided regarding the Training Manager position.
