The MABI Center Data team is seeking a skilled professional to join their team and play an instrumental role in shaping the Claims Data ecosystem strategy for all of AbbVie's domestic brands.
As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to lead the standardization of patient claims data and its required operations.
This role requires strong data, analytics, and business intelligence skills, as well as subject matter expertise across the patient claims data and technology ecosystem.
The goal of this role is to standardize and simplify claims data to derive valuable patient journey analytics.

Key Responsibilities: · Lead the implementation of a scalable data operations framework to improve efficiency in data management processes for syndicated patient claims data.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop user-friendly dashboards for real-time monitoring and insights into data operations performance for claims data.
· Document metric requirements, data lineage, and ETL pipelines to meet business needs.
· Implement the governance framework for the claims data layer, ensuring transparency and trust in data and metric logic.
· Standardize business rules for data processing, enabling easy ad-hoc analytics and support for cross-functional teams.
· Resolve data quality issues, ensuring data integrity and reliability across reporting and operational processes.
· Identify opportunities to enhance data management practices and influence data strategy for continuous improvement and optimized utilization.
· Develop and execute benchmark leading processes for data acquisition, integration, quality control, use, education, and systems.
· Optimize the data operations and effectiveness while providing the greatest business value.
· Effectively communicate status, results, and achievements across all stakeholders.
· Demonstrate a deep understanding of retail and medical claims from syndicated data providers and possess knowledge of specialty network claims.
· Manage and coordinate the acquisition and onboarding of data suppliers.
Qualifications: Required: · Bachelor’s degree · 5+ years of professional experience.
· 3+ years of related industry experience with real world data, data operations and/or BI.
· Ability to distill complex information synthesized into concise and impactful messages and communications.
· Strong working knowledge and experience of working with SQL, Dataiku, Python and Power BI/Tableau/Datorama · Experience with data and analytics environments for tracking and reporting KPIs.
· Experience working in a matrixed environment across commercial and marketing stakeholders.
Preferred: · Strong working knowledge of syndicated pharmaceutical data sources, including claims data sources (e.
g.
IQVIA, Symphony).
· Experience with both open and closed claims and subject matter expertise in analyzing the claims data.
· 3-5 years of BI project management or development.
Experience in building and documenting metric layers.
