*Fives Group is searching for a Sales Engineer.

The candidate will be responsible for developing sales, completing sales and maintaining customer accounts within a defined territory in solution selling of capital equipment for the foundry industry and will be expected to • Leverage our network of indirect outside sales reps as needed to achieve goals.
• Establish customer rapport and acceptance.
Experience with • Foundry processes.
• Capital equipment.
• Territory management.
• Recommend new and improved products to the customers and explain how the equipment will be more cost-effective.
• Give technical presentations to explain to customers how the company's products and services work.
• Generate high-quality sales leads, follow up after initial contact, securing orders, negotiating prices, completing sales.
• Gather system requirements and customer needs in order to assemble an offering.
• Develop formal sales proposals and offers in response to requests for quotes using company templates.
• Work with the customers and internal engineering team to ensure the equipment meets the system requirements.
• Communicate with the sales and engineering teams to understand customer demands and offer sales support where necessary.
• Assist customers who have problems with current installed products and recommending improved or upgraded materials and machinery.
• Solicit and log client requests, request for quote progress, and customer feedback within our CRM system.
• Plan for modifications to products to meet consumer demands.
• Identify areas for improvement and communicate these issues as well as possible solutions to upper management.
• Help set and specifically achieve sales goals and quotas.
• Train with other members of the sales team on the technical aspects of the company's products and services.
• Travel after training period approximately 25-35% per calendar year including 3 consecutive days in main office per quarter required and including attendance at any required exposition.

• Ability to work with others as a team in office and remotely • Ability to build client relationships easily • Ability to analyze and problem-solve process issues • Presentation skills and the ability to convey product value • Ability to relate technical information to non-technical individuals • High-level organizational skills for maintaining sales territory • Self-confidence to support persuasion and sales efforts • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a technical degree in foundry or engineering disciplines.
