Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Manager to help us expand our reach and grow our business in the horticultural industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing corporate buying groups, developing and executing sales strategies including online, and driving product development initiatives.
This role will also involve representing our company at trade shows and other industry events and organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies that deliver revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate buying groups, ensuring that our products and services meet their needs and expectations.
Work closely with the Marketing and Product Development teams to develop new products and services that align with customer needs and market trends.
Represent our company at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events, promoting our products and services and building relationships with key stakeholders.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets and customer segments.
Manage the sales pipeline, forecasting revenue and ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to customers.
Develop online strategy for newsletters and social media.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the horticultural industry
Proficient in MS Office
Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Experience managing corporate buying groups and developing product strategies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Must pass Drug test and Background check.
