SUMMARY: Provides financial products and services to establish, retain and deepen relationships with credit union members to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional member service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Answers incoming department calls and processes members’ requests
Processes incoming phone, internet and LSI applications for consumer loans and credit cards
Reviews credit reports for cross-sell opportunities
Prepares loan documentation, schedules closing, and closes consumer loans
Actively cross-promotes credit union products and services
Works applicable sales leads from internal sources
Acts as credit union representative for member inquiries
Maintains knowledge of credit union products, services, policies and procedures
Adheres to all credit union policies and procedures
Other duties as may be assigned
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:
Achieves minimum standards of sales goals
Reviews, packages and submits all loan and supporting documentation to Consumer Lending Department per established procedures
Monitors and reports sales figures to Manager and the VP of Service and Sales
Supports the marketing of the credit union and its products and services
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED), Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS) Certification
Education Preferred: Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field
Experience Required: One (1) year of customer service or lending experience in a financial institution,
Experience Preferred: Two (2) years of customer service or lending experience in a financial institution
