*Title: *Fundraising Manager
*Reports To: *Director of Development & Communications

The Fundraising Manager (FM) works with the Director of Development & Communications (DoDC) to plan and execute resource development strategies and monitor progress against organization’s strategic goals and vision.
Together with the DoDC, the DM supports and engages with donors to cultivate and solicit donations and grants from individuals, corporations, foundations, and government agencies.
Tasks include researching, writing, and submitting letters of inquiry, proposals, progress reports, and other communications with funders; maintaining communications and stewarding funders; researching and maintaining a pipeline of prospective funders; monitoring performance against goals and objectives; working with colleagues to develop funding concepts.
Additionally, this person will lead the execution of the Annual Gala and Annual Golf Outing, solicit event sponsorships and manage relationships with corporate partners along with the DoDC.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* _*Grants Management – 50%*_ · Work closely with the DoDC, to implement entire grant cycle of activities to achieve budget goals; · Research, write, and submit letters of inquiry, grant applications, mid-year and other reports; · Maintain grants calendar ensuring on-time submissions; · Coordinate with BGCLC’s Program Team on data collection and analysis _*Special Events – 25%*_ · Support the planning and execution of Organization’s two primary fundraising events and campaigns – Annual Gala and Golf Outing; · Cultivate corporate and individual solicitations including sponsorship, tickets, in-kind gifts, and auction items; · Manage event management system · Manage event logistic details including communications with vendors and donors, catering, audio-visual needs, printed materials, day of event timelines and all other resources for effective event implementation _*Gift Processing & Database Management – 15%*_ · Ensure proper and timely acknowledgments of gifts and donations; · Enter and manage all giving data accurately within the donor management system; · Manage organization’s fundraising database and software, acting as the internal lead on data entry and capacity building when system updates occur; · Produce standard and customized queries, reports, and mailing _*Communications – 10%*_ · Assist in the development and distribution of regular communications via website and social media platforms; · Assist in managing website updates *EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES* · BA degree (or equivalent) · 3-5 years’ experience in fundraising, grant writing, and/or special events · Excellent verbal/written communication skills · Strong organizational and project management skills · Mastery of all MS Office applications · Database/CRM experience preferably Salesforce.
· Website management · Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to follow through · Capable of handling multiple projects with competing priorities · Work both independently and as a collaborative team member · Occasional evenings and weekends required · _Relevant combination of Education and Experience will be considered_ *Physical Requirements/Work Environment:* · Ability to climb stairs · Ability to lift items over 25 lbs.
