*Executive Director of Sales for GGRS and Timber Ridge* Grand Geneva Resort & Spa (GGRS) and Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark are renowned destinations in the heart of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
We are seeking a strategic and experienced *Executive Director of Sales* to lead our Sales teams for both properties in 2024 and beyond.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader, fostering a high-performing sales environment, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving vibrant activity into all rooms and event spaces of our resort and waterpark.

*What will you be doing?* · Lead sales teams at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa and Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark with effective management and coordination.
· Develop and implement strategic plans, set goals, and oversee market segments, contract approvals, sales assignments, and efforts of Sales Managers.
· Conduct account prospecting and development through various channels.
· Represent properties at trade shows, civic/business functions, and industry-related associations to promote resorts and the region.
· Actively participate in community initiatives, fostering strong relationships and enhancing resorts' presence.
· Serve as a liaison between Sales Managers, Event Managers, revenue management, marketing, and executive teams.
· Manage P&L and expenses, including forecasting and budgeting.
· Collaborate with advertising agencies, PR firms, and local tourism initiatives.
· Monitor performance metrics, prepare senior management reports, and conduct market research for detailed business plans.
· Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to ensure a cohesive and high-performing sales team.
*What will you bring to the role?* · Minimum of five (5) years' experience as a sales leader in the hotel industry, preferably in a resort setting.
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Thorough knowledge of Delphi Systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify market trends and provide strategic recommendations.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
· Proficiency in sales management, market analysis, and revenue maximization strategies.
· Flexibility to work varying schedules and travel as required for sales calls and industry events.
