About the role
Grand Geneva Resort & Spa is currently seeking a Marketing Manager to join our talented team! This role will support the Director of Marketing and Communications in generating innovative marketing strategies and campaigns, primarily focusing on developing content through social media, web materials, video and email marketing.
What will you be doing?
· Participate in the development and execution of comprehensive marketing plans and programs to support the commercial objectives of the organization.
· Support agency partner relationships regarding our websites, digital and print media, PR and creative.
· Oversee the development and production of promotional and collateral materials.
· Proactively research, analyze and monitor industry trends and new technology to capitalize on market opportunities.
· Project manage the marketing team and department shareholders to execute cross-functional campaigns efficiently and on deadline.
· Oversee social media channels including influencer stays, reviewing performance metrics and creating campaign recaps.
· Manages and writes the resort blogs.
· Establishes and maintains a consistent resort and corporate brand voice throughout all promotional events and materials.
· Conduct market research and evaluate the success of marketing efforts.
· Implement tactics established in the annual marketing plan.
· Participate in resort-wide, managerial-level and marketing events and meetings as needed.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
What do you bring to the role?
· Bachelor's Degree highly desired, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related.
· 3+ years experience in the marketing field required.
· Experience in a hospitality environment highly desired.
· Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva preferred.
· Interest in producing short-form video content.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate various options and quickly make recommendations.
· Highly organized.
· Ability to think creatively and strategically.
· Professional demeanor.
Past experience on ski hills and customer service a plus
Enjoys proactively using their creativity to personalize the guest experience
