Position Description:
The Marketing Summer Intern will support special initiatives within marketing.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assists Marketing Communications Specialist and Director of Marketing by supporting department administrative duties
• Perform ad hoc projects and miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
• All other duties as assigned
Characteristics and Skills:
• Must have a high proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Outlook)
• Must have proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (In-Design, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Must be creative, decisive, positive, proactive, and enjoy new challenges
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Current student in Marketing or Communications
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Essential Physical Abilities:
• Ability to sit or stand at a computer for 80% of the day
