Handi Ramp, founded in 1958, is one of the oldest manufacturers of metal ramps in the United States which specializes in safety and accessibility products.
PetStep International delivers pet accessibility products to the consumer and retail markets.
Industrial Toolz specializes in the manufacturing of metal material handling products such as yard ramps, dock plates and dock boards.
Handi Trailers & Fleming Trailers specialize in the manufacture and sale of trailers that accommodate, but are not limited to, utility equipment trailers, gooseneck trailers, flatbed trailers, equipment and car hauling trailers.

What We Are Looking for: Alignment with our company CITE values and mission: Customer Focus Integrity Teamwork Effective and efficient programs and processes Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): Preparing asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information Preparing and executing month, quarter, and year end financial close and consolidating entries accurately and timely Documenting financial transactions by entering account information Providing cost analysis reports to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports Recommending financial actions by analyzing accounting options Summarizing current financial status by collecting information Maintaining accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures Working with other accounting staff to coordinate activities and answer questions Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information Facilitating and following-up on collection efforts to ensure AR targets are maintained Maintaining financial security by following internal controls Preparing payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements Answering accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations Complying with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions Preparing special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends Maintaining confidence and protecting operations by keeping financial information confidential Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Prioritizing continuous process improvement within the accounting department and between departments Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations Oversee monthly inventory valuation onsite and be able to identify inventory variance Be able to submit consolidated financial statements to the bank to meet bank covenant Create and own Material Master (Item list) Verify daily deposits / activity; initiate transfers / wires and record bank interest / fees Prepare daily cash report for senior management and monthly cash forecast Analyze monthly bank / credit card charges and reconcile variances Reconcile all bank accounts including depository, operating, disbursement, restricted and credit card accounts Create and file monthly and annual sales tax reports Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field -5- years experience as an Assistant Controller in a small to mid-sized manufacturing environment is required -5- years experience in consolidation reporting is required Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred An expert in Excel Excellent time management, verbal communication and presentation skills Good problem-solving and math skills Independent worker with strong attention to detail Deadline oriented High level of integrity and work ethic Ability to identify and creatively solve problems Self motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times We provide flexible work schedules so that you can work at your best, encouraging creativity and solution-oriented thinking, and we offer a compensation package that includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurances, short/long term disability and 401(k) -3% Match on Simple IRA Our employees drive our culture.
