As a member of the machining team, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of a variety of machines in the shop including CNC Lathes, CNC Mills, Laser Welders, Weld Around, Hobbers/Shapers, Laser Cutters, Pull Broach, and Pot Broach machines.
NO PREVIOUS CNC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED but is PREFERRED
Responsibilities include:
Adjust machine controls and change tool settings to keep dimensions within specified tolerances
Load/unload parts to be machined, positioning, securing, and aligning with cutting tools or tool holders on machines
Run machines through cycles, stopping to adjust tool positions and machine controls to ensure specified timing, clearances, and tolerances.
Study blueprints, layouts, or charts, and job order information on specification and tooling instructions to determine operational sequences
Inspect parts to ensure product specifications are met utilizing a variety of measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and a variety of gauges/tools
Qualifications:
Seeking candidates with a minimum of 6 months of previous machine operation experience, preferably in CNC lathes/mills, Laser welders/cutters, hobbers/shapers, etc.
Knowledge of machines, including set up and changeover of tooling
The position requires excellent math skills and the ability to read, interpret, and follow a variety of blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
Ability to take precise measurements utilizing a variety of inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, and a variety of gauges/tools
Ability to work 10 hours in a physically active and challenging environment that includes but is not limited to; walking, standing, lifting, twisting, turning, pushing, pulling
High School Diploma or equivalent required

Base pay will vary based on experience and will range between $17.

rate (41-48 hours earns time and a half, 49+ double time)
Train on 1st shift – 5 AM – 3 PM (Monday – Friday) & 5 AM – 10 AM on Saturdays – will move to 2nd shift after 90 days 3 PM - 1 AM (Monday - Friday) and a mid-shift on Saturday 10 AM - 3 PM
