Job Description Key Responsibilities Responsible for assisting the Audit Data Analytics Manager through AbbVie Internal Audit function in supporting execution of an effective data analytics program.
Assist in the execution of data analytic initiatives by creating, documenting, training, & partnering with Finance, Compliance, & BTS audit teams & activities.
Partner with Data Analytics Manager to deliver Internal Audit Data Analytic key projects & improvements.
Participate in IA Data Analytics Governance Committee.
Assist in the identification & assessment of gaps in internal processes through use of analytics, reporting, & dashboard visualizations as part of a data analytics audit process.
Responsible for reporting experience & documentation of financial & analytics processes using Python, SQL, PowerPoint, Excel.
Responsible for capturing, implementing, reporting, analyzing & managing all required data used in course of audits throughout the year.
Maintain in-depth knowledge & understanding of all aspects of the AbbVie Internal Audit data analytics program.
Provide support for creating, monitoring, documenting & providing recommendations on audit analytics within each functional team.
Perform monitoring tasks, including identifying & defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing & analyzing evidence, & documenting processes & procedures.
Responsible for data cleaning using Python & SQL.
Compile & analyze information in order to assist audit planning & fieldwork sampling of transactions performed by audit team.
Identify any inconsistency & analyze data so that it can be accurately documented.
Investigate & correct errors in logic or data sources.
Incorporate knowledge of business & technology to make recommendations.
Utilize experience with SQL, MSFT SQL Server Management Studio, & MSFT Office Suite.
Translate data gathered from user discussions into business requirements.
Identify business/system needs & recommend solutions.
Assist with the testing strategies & develop preliminary findings.
Develop solutions to problems where casual relationships can be identified & precedents exist.
Work with data review & correction for requests sent by audit team.
Maintain constant & open communication with the functional audit teams.
Support other team members & management in strategic initiatives.
Partner with business to analyze processes & needs.
Analyze the most complex work procedures & job methods & present concepts to simplify those procedures.
Work effectively with team/group to accomplish organizational goals.
Qualifications Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Accounting, Finance, Statistics, or a highly related field of study with at least 1 year of experience in the following: reporting experience and documentation of financial and analytics processes using Python, SQL, PowerPoint, Excel; Data cleaning using Python and SQL; & experience with SQL, MSFT SQL Server Management Studio, & MSFT Office Suite.
