This position is an opportunity for an early career candidate to join a team and work at the intersection of machine learning and artificial intelligence within the Patient Safety and Real World Data spaces at AbbVie.
This role will work collaboratively with technology and business groups to perform analyses and implement technologies to deliver precise, reliable, and reproducible reports or solutions in a timely manner, under the direction of a more senior leader.
Also, this role will need to demonstrate technical precision and strong data interpretation skills.
This position is part of the RAIDERS R&D IT Team.
The RAIDERS team supports the exploration and delivery of solutions using emerging artificial intelligence and automation capabilities for all parts of the R&D organization.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Perform routine tasks competently and independently and generate reliable and consistent results.
Possess general understanding of software development, data integration and warehousing, and data analysis and visualization tools.
Analyze and critique results, noting significant variances or deviations.
Troubleshoot algorithms, protocols, and software programs.
Demonstrate skill in multiple techniques and appropriately modify protocols, as required, to suit the changing needs of our business.
Learn and understand new methods and technologies.
Place data and results in proper context by consulting relevant literature and other publically available information.

Required:
Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of relative work experience or Master’s degree with 0 years of experience.
Some knowledge of machine learning algorithms.
