Responsibilities: - Perform echocardiogram examinations using state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment, capturing high-quality images of the heart and assisting in the diagnosis of cardiovascular conditions- Conduct complete and comprehensive assessments of cardiac structures, function, and blood flow patterns, utilizing Doppler and color flow imaging techniques- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to obtain necessary imaging and ensure specific protocols are followed for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning- Communicate effectively with patients to provide clear instructions, answer questions, and alleviate any concerns related to the procedure- Document all relevant patient information, examination details, and findings accurately and in compliance with regulatory guidelines- Maintain equipment cleanliness, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot technical issues when necessary- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for patients, staff, and yourself
Requirements: - Certified Cardiac Sonographer\/Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with specialization in echocardiography- Minimum of [2 years] of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer, preferably in a hospital or medical imaging center setting- Proficiency in performing transthoracic echocardiograms, including 2D, M-mode, Doppler, color flow imaging, and stress echocardiography- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, medical staff, and other team members- Detail-oriented approach with the ability to analyze and interpret complex ultrasound images accurately- Familiarity with safety protocols and infection control measures in a healthcare setting- Availability to work on a temporary basis for a fixed duration of 3-6 months
