School Social Worker Essential Job Functions:
Help students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Assist students through early identification, prevention, intervention, counseling, and support.
Develop and teach intervention strategies to help students achieve academic goals.
Work with family members and other individuals in a child’s life to help support their development, learning, and adjustment.
Timeline and Schedule:
Full-time | 35-40 hours per week.
Follows school/district calendar.
Now interviewing and hiring for the upcoming school year.
Year-long contract with the potential to extend into following years.
Start date: ASAP
End date: June 2024.
School Social Worker Requirements:
Master’s degree in social work.
Professional Educator License (PEL) with Social Work K-12 Endorsement.
