Onward Counseling Center is looking for a licensed psychotherapist to join our expanding practice.
This position is for providers who are fully licensed (LCPC, LCSW, Licensed Clinical Psychologist) who specialize in working with children, adolescents, and their families.
This is a contract position (1099), renewed annually, and we are looking for someone interested in providing a minimum of 20 hours weekly face to face (or screen to screen) with clients.

*Responsibilities*
* Provide individual, psychotherapy to children and adolescent clients with a wide range of diagnoses and needs.
* Complete and maintain progress notes, intake assessments, treatment plans, etc.
in a timely manner.
* Maintain scheduling of active clients and collect balances due at time of service.
* Maintain communication with client’s other treatment providers to ensure optimum care, if necessary.
*Requirements*
* Have a master’s degree or doctorate degree within the counseling/psychology field and an active, valid, unrestricted Illinois license to practice.
* Conduct therapy in accordance with state regulations and professional licensure laws
* Possess a proven track record of assessment and treatment skills and the ability to foster therapeutic relationships and retain clients over time.
* Have recent experience and be passionate about working with children and their families
* Be located within a comfortable commute distance to Grayslake, IL.

* Provide all administrative tasks and provide available referrals for therapist so that you may focus on your clinical work.
