Neurologist
Froedtert South Medical Group
Froedtert South is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible neurologist to join our team full time.
The successful applicant will work with two other neurologists.
We welcome candidates who have experience, expertise, and passion in this area.
That said, we are incredibly flexible and welcome recently trained residents.
The practice focus includes outpatient, inpatient, and EMG interpretations.
The potential applicant will be required to participate in a call rotation with the other neurologists.
A typical week would include four days of office hours, with four to eight hours of those days being EMG interpretations.
The practice also includes rounding on patients before and/or after office hours.
There is a call rotation for evenings and weekends for office patients and inpatients.

Responsibilities:
Meet with patients and examine them to diagnose neurological conditions such as stroke, dementia, and neuromuscular diseases
Order and interpret tests to aid in deciding on the best course of treatment
Share findings with team members and serve as a contributor and sounding board for others on the team
Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatments when necessary
Work with patients and their family members to give them a voice
Attend and participate in training, seminars, and other continuing education to stay current on trends and techniques
Qualifications and Skills:
Valid state of Wisconsin medical license
Board eligible or board certified in neurology by the America Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
Completion of an ACGME accredited Residency training in Neurology
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to keep an open mind
Innate curiosity, determination and drive
