**HYBRID Work Schedule The Senior Integration Architect applies technical expertise to implement and support the Johnson Outdoors’ System Integration Ecosystem.
Maintains the interfaces between the ERP system consisting of JDEdwards and over thirty third-party support systems.
Responsibilities include integration toolset support, application interface design and development and security best practices for integration methods.
A heavy emphasis will be on working collaboratively with external and internal resources.
What you will be doing: Integration platform: Involved in the process to implement, document, and support the integration toolset(s) required to support the system interoperability requirements, internally and externally.
Ensures upgrades are completed to stay current with integration vendor(s).
Solution design and development: Works collaboratively with the project application teams.
Educates and applies the right integration solution based on the system/business requirements and best practices.
Develops and tests the connector portion of the integration as appropriate.
Ongoing support: Ensures integration toolsets are available, reliable, performant, and secure.
Troubleshoots and resolves issues as it pertains to the interface platform and working interfaces.
System performance: Ensures all solution components are designed and implemented for optimal performance.
Defines, and monitors key system metrics, performing load tests, working with internal and external resources to resolve bottlenecks.
Code development: Defines and implements code management practices (e.
g.
, continuous integration and development operations), develops modules as deemed appropriate, and mentors internal resources on development tasks.
Security/compliance: Reviews and ensures vendor solutions are compliant with Johnson Outdoors’ cyber-security standards (e.
g.
, PCI, SOX, GDPR).
Technical documentation: Ensures system documentation is developed, maintained, and readily accessible to the team Performs other duties as assigned.
What you need to succeed: Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or equivalent.
Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of experience working in an enterprise level integration environment.
Demonstrated skills and knowledge with a minimum of 5 years of experience working with the following primary technologies in an enterprise environment: REST API Services, SOAP, JSON, .
NET, Java, XML, SFTP, CSV, SQL, SSIS.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in working with the following primary technologies in an enterprise environment: JDE Orchestrator; Workato IPAAS/ETL solutions , Version control systems (Gitlow), and security practices for PCI, SOX, General Data Protection Regulation.
Knowledge of integration architecture and data architecture standards, frameworks, and practices.
Expertise in solution design and development, vendor management, enterprise application support, in addition to strong business understanding.
Project management experience which includes leading cross functional teams, developing and managing milestones/execution and evaluating project results.
Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to leverage across various internal and external teams/resources.
Proven experience in managing relationships with vendors/consultants, IT teams and internal stakeholders.
Experience working with APIs from commercial software applications.
Detailed oriented with strong analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills.
