*Job Summary:*
The Irrigation Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing existing irrigation systems, installing new systems, and supervising a team of technicians.
The role will require effective communication with team members and clients to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
*Qualifications and Skills:*
* 5+ years of irrigation experience preferred
* Understanding of irrigation is a must, installation, maintenance, and repairs obtained through previous experience in the industry or a related position
* Must be able to communicate in Spanish and English, including: read, write, and with use of phones.
* Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and solve problems
* Ability to lift 75 pounds and perform physical field work as directed by supervisor.
* Experience with irrigation system design and installation is a plus
* High school diploma or GED equivalent, with additional certifications or training in irrigation systems preferred
* Candidates must have a valid local driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.
* Required to pass a DOT medical physical according to DOT guidelines.
* A pre-employment physical and drug test is required after offer of employment.
Will be subject to random drug screening.
* Must be 21 years or older.
