L & S is looking for a Substation Technician or Engineer, preferably to be based in South
Eastern, WI, but could potentially reside anywhere in WI.
We are seeking a self-motivated professional that has excellent problem-solving and communication
skills and is able to work with a team as well as independently.
Responsibilities:
• Substation maintenance testing.
• Commissioning work.
• Test protective relaying systems; troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct.
• Maintain, and troubleshoot SCADA system.
• All other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
• 2 year technical degree in electrical power.
• Proficient computer and phone skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on client/customer needs.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Extensive travel; overnights included dependent upon location.
Preferred:
• Prior experience in a similar position
• BSEE degree

• Essential functions of this job require physical demands.
