The Internal Auditor will have the chance to help build the controls and processes necessary to ensure the continued success of the organization.
As the Internal Auditor, you will oversee and execute internal audit projects including audit planning, fieldwork, reporting, and validation of management action plan completion.
A Day in the Life
• Provide direction and coaching to All Fleet team members in the completion of internal audits and other activities.
• Perform internal audits and other projects.
• Develop risk-focused audit plans to assess the effectiveness of internal controls.
• Execute fieldwork, identify, and communicate audit findings and recommendations.
• Lead or perform follow-up testing of management action plans.
• Draft internal audit reports that clearly and concisely capture results of work performed including collaboration with management in the development of effective action plans in response to audit findings
• Auditor will be expected to perform and participate in inventory counts/audits some of which will require travel overnight stays.
Requirements
• BA/BS Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field required.
• Accounting or audit designation e.
g.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
• Strong understanding of risk-based audit methodology and accepted risk and control frameworks.
• Experience in using data analytics is an asset.
• Experience in Inventory Management.
• Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop & Online.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel(including filtering, macros, and pivot tables).
• Strong organization, planning, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of multi-state tax laws.
