Position Description: Join Modine's Rotational Development Program (RDP) – an immersive full-time opportunity crafted to prepare you for a pivotal cross-functional role within our organization.
This 24-month journey is designed for you to spend six months in each of four distinct functional areas: Accounts Payable, Credit, Corporate Accounting, and Audit.
Afterward, you'll transition to a department aligned with your passions and our business needs.
Throughout each rotation, you'll be engaged in projects that unravel the intricacies of each functional domain and their contributions to Modine's success.
Your involvement will encompass tasks such as data analysis, untangling process bottlenecks, and integrating fresh initiatives into our operational, regulatory, and technical frameworks.
The RDP role blends broad-scale project oversight with deep-dive exploration of intricate workflows.
The objective is to foster a holistic comprehension of Modine's operations.
As time progresses, your responsibilities will evolve from constituent parts of larger initiatives to enhancing processes tailored to specific groups.
Eventually, you'll undertake projects with implications that span multiple segments within our company.
Key Responsibilities: Here's a preview of the work that awaits you during your RDP tenure: Accounts Payable: Receive and process vendor invoices, executing the 3-Way match for product-received entries.
Handle service invoices, securing proper approval and documentation for entry.
Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to resolve invoice discrepancies stemming from quantity or purchase order pricing variations.
Credit: Ensure timely payments through meticulous account reconciliation on customer web portals.
Engage in comprehensive reviews of invoice aging with both internal and external stakeholders, overseeing corrective actions to curtail overdue receivables and enhance company cash flow.
Perform evaluations of new and existing customer credit, providing recommendations for appropriate credit limits to mitigate bad debt risk.
Manage cash application processes.
Accounting: Contribute to SEC reporting, encompassing the preparation and alignment of 10Q/K filings.
Prepare tables for earnings releases and provide insights into benchmarking disclosures for other filers, suggesting potential enhancements.
Participate in month-end closing activities, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, customer invoicing, and lease accounting.
Internal Audit: Conduct thorough plant audit to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications: Possess legal authorization to work in the U.
S.
without the need for Modine-sponsored sponsorship, either presently or in the future.
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Minimum GPA: Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.
0 at the time of graduation.
Travel: Anticipate approximately two weeks of travel during the Audit rotation to one of our plant locations.
