SUMMARY: Provides employee service and supports entry-level payroll and benefits functions including timesheet reviews to employee pay and leave types and entering basic employee changes.
Assist employees with health benefits including coordinating materials and new hire/change enrollments.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide exceptional service to employees with inquiries related to payroll and benefits.
Complete employment actions in the Company’s HRIS system, including new hire setup, pays, leaves, name/address changes, and end of employment.
Monitor payroll timesheets to Company policies and procedures to ensure accurate and thorough reporting of company and temporary staffing employees.
Review employee absences to Company approved leave types.
Identify and report timesheet inaccuracies to management for review and correction.
Complete and report internal pay audits as assigned.
Scans and maintains organized, accurate, and timely employee files in digital systems.
Coordinate with temporary staffing agencies to set up new employees’ profiles such as reporting supervisor, ID badge for access to facility and rehire status.
Administer the Time/Attendance program ensuring accurate records of employee hours, schedules, departments, and attendance.
Perform a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, collection, and reporting of payroll and benefits information.
Maintain PHI and confidentiality of medical records, employment and pay records.
Assist with benefits open enrollments, health fairs and wellness program events.
Assist with preparation and dissemination of various digital and print materials.
Effectively communicate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders using multiple tools to ensure effective visual communication.
Perform similar level or nature of duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma or G.

D.
; and, One (1) year directly related experience.
Knowledge of: Federal, state, and local laws governing payroll and income taxes.
Federal, state, and local laws governing employee leaves and benefits.
Skill in: Using computer hardware, including keyboard, mouse, monitor, and related hardware Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook Ability to: Act with urgency to meet deadlines and ensure high levels of service to employees.
Exercise discretion, good judgment, and sensitivity with all levels of employees Analyze and present data and information in a variety of methods.
