Global Payroll and Tax Analyst
6-month initial contract

Orion Group is now seeking a Global Payroll and Tax Analyst to join our Pharmaceutical Client's Global Mobility Team in North Chicago.
The global mobility team manages the company's expatriate population as well as the domestic and international relocation programs.
There are expatriates in over 45 countries around the world and the candidate chosen will perform analysis in a wide array of currencies.
As part of responsibilities the Global Payroll and Tax Analyst will assist with the creation of data analytics tool/dashboard which will allow our business leaders insights regarding our client's relocation programs.
Global Payroll and Tax Analyst Responsibilities include:
· Review and analyze expatriate tax and payroll results and pay slips in various currencies
· Navigate within the Workday environment and analyze data extracted from the platform
· Utilize vendor tools and source documents to validate Expatriate payroll production including tax ramifications
· Operate under general or minimum supervision, and perform duties with broad latitude for judgment
· Quickly synthesize data, determine implications, and make informed decisions often with large volumes of data
· Document, recommend, and make process improvements
· Present outcome of analysis to team members as well as leadership
· Tax Equalization review and collection
Global Payroll and Tax Analyst Qualifications:
· Professional must be proficient in Excel including but not limited to using pivot tables, sorting and filtering large volumes of data as well as analyzing data in excel pulled from various sources.
· Knowledge of Access is also a plus.
· Experience with Power Bi and Microsoft Teams environment preferred.
· Superior organizational skills, able to manage and prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks and projects effectively and efficiently.
· Exceptional attention to detail, adhere to instructions, maintain accuracy, be able to identify errors and execute high-quality work
· Data Analytics involving Multi currencies
· 2-5 years of Global Mobility payroll and tax experience and/or 3-5 years, bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or similar degree
