Position: Controller
Location: Libertyville, Illinois
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Manage the month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 5 + years in progressive experience in corporate accounting and 2+ years as an Assistant Controller or Controller.
Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial leadership role.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
Experience in cost-accounting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Experience with QuickBooks (Online version preferred).
