The Financial Analyst – Vendor Master Data is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of vendor bank data to help prevent attempts at bank data fraud.
The Analyst will work with business requestors and vendors to verify banking information, look for red flags, etc.
This role will ensure compliance with the new process within the established SLA’s, and adherence to established practices, procedures and policies.
As a member of the US vendor master data team, collaborate with Procurement,
Accounts Payable, Treasury and business users to verify vendor bank information.
Verify documentation received including the bank verification form for accuracy and consistency.
Prepare documentation of the vendor verification call and maintain documentation in DSP and SAP systems.
Support additional functions within the Vendor master data team.
Address queries from business requestors in relation to Bank Verification and provide the status to the requestor.
Respond to escalation requests from business users,
Provide strict adherence to Abbvie processes and established SLAs for the process.
Knowledge/Experience of S4 SAP system with Vendor master and PTP processes preferred.
Knowledge/Experience of SAP Ariba and DSP systems is an advantage.
Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, communication, organization, and decision-making skills.
Good time management with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Should be flexible to work in multiple time zones as needed
Bachelor’s degree required.
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
4+ years of relevant experience in Finance or Accounting.
Strong communication skills and customer support.
Proficient Excel skills required, experience with TM1 and SAP preferred.
