The Opportunity Provide financial analysis and support to Accounts Receivable (AR) managers and team.
Serve as Accounts Receivable credit lead.
Understands and interprets financials and other key data to determine credit worthiness and overall financial stability of potential and existing customers.
WHAT YOU’LL DO Responsible for review & analysis of all customer accounts, as well as preparation of reporting with only minimum supervision and technical guidance.
These tasks may include: Monthly reviews of existing credit limits per policy.
Review and recommend credit limits for new customers.
Various Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting as well as ability to provide ad-hoc reports as requested.
Assist in Sox/Audit compliance requests.
Review/analyze/update credit limits, risk class, and credit exposure on a regular basis per company policy to ensure up to date and appropriate credit limits are set for all US customer accounts.
preparation of reporting packages including but not limited to: Divisional reporting packages, write-off reporting, credit exposure/limits reports, Sunshine reporting, annual credit reporting, and other pre-audit compliance reporting and data pulls.
Create and distribute ad-hoc type reports to assist management and collection leads to see trends, issues, and other related analytics to assist in the overall collection efforts.
Research and provide explanation & commentary for any audit, reporting follow-ups, and/or any other ad-hoc requests that come from the various divisions and management.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING Required Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience.
4-5 years’ experience in credit management Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.
) Requires strong attention to details Requires strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills SAP knowledge desirable Effective communication and interpersonal skills that can interact with all levels of management in a dynamic environment.
