The Opportunity
Our location in Abbott Park, IL, currently has an opportunity for a Payroll Associate II.
This is an onsite position.
This position will drive assigned payrolls to timely and accurate completion through analysis, audit, reconciliation, and resolution of complex payroll processing and employee payroll issues.
What You’ll Work On
Ensure payroll reporting and payments are compliant with company policy and federal, state, and local regulations.
Researches and interprets federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and resolves tax issues including agency notices and employee inquiries.
Maintain Workday Payroll system including but not limited to tax form processing and federal, state, and local tax adjustments where applicable.
Collaborate with teammates to generate, reconcile, and communicate weekly tax deposits.
Reconcile quarterly tax filings based on tax entity distribution and responsibility.
Collaborate with teammates during year-end processes including the distribution, testing, and reconciliation of the Form W-2.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
2+ years of payroll tax experience performing all functions of payroll and tax
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Payroll Professional preferred
Workday Payroll experience preferred.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
Demonstrated high degree of professionalism and integrity.
Excellent problem solving/judgment skills and high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a high paced environment.
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and execute against established timelines and priorities.

50 – $54.
50 per hour.
