Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Associate
Five Star, a fast-growing manufacturing company with a focus on innovation, customer service, and a winning
mindset, is seeking a highly motivated and analytical FP&A Associate to join our finance team.
The FP&A Associate
will provide financial analysis and planning support to the organization to help drive informed business decisions.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the finance team and other departments to develop annual budgets, monthly forecasts,
and long-range strategic plans.
• Analyze and report on financial and operational results, providing insights and recommendations to
management on key drivers of performance.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of business performance, including pricing, product mix, volume, and cost
drivers to identify opportunities to optimize financial results.
• Prepare and present financial models, reports, and presentations to senior management and other
stakeholders.
• Assist with financial due diligence for potential acquisitions or partnerships.
• Develop and maintain financial metrics and dashboards to monitor business performance and identify
areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives, including pricing strategies, capital
investment decisions, and product development.
• Assist with other finance projects as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
MBA, CPA, and
CFA preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in FP&A or a related finance function.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with the ability to interpret, communicate, and present
complex financial data to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.
Experience with financial
planning software preferred.
• Comfortable with a manager who is hybrid remote and utilizes Microsoft Teams
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
