We are seeking a full-time Senior Accountant to assist in directing the organization’s financial planning and accounting practices by performing duties personally or through the Accounting Department staff.

Job responsibilities include:
Assist in preparing full financial report on a monthly basis.
Work with Accounting Manager on cash management.
Authorization to sign checks on all LDV, Inc.
accounts.
Prepare government quarterly reports.
Report sales to government agencies quarterly or semiannually.
Review accounting and administration controls in preparation for annual audits including workers’ compensation, 401(k), banking and financial audits.
Process bi-weekly and monthly payrolls.
Maintain all records pertaining to payroll (daily hours, holiday, vacation, FMLA).
Reconcile and transfer funds for health and prescription insurance plans.
Reconcile various GL accounts monthly.
Post daily interface of accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, and job costs to the general ledger.
Process deals for month end close such as; service jobs, vehicles, warranty jobs, catalog work jobs, and refurbishment jobs.
Prepare work papers for annual audit.
Assist Accounting Manager in Year-end inventory reporting and auditing.
Process/reconcile insurance payments for health and dental billing.
Make journal entries and intercompany monthly journal entries.
Reconcile monthly bank statement for main operating accounts and Canadian account.
Manage floor plan and pay-offs for bodies and chassis.
Monitor and report FET
Requirements:
Candidates should have these qualifications:
Advanced general ledger knowledge
Experience with paperless document storage system
Experience in manufacturing or construction environment a plus
Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school desired
Two or more years of AP experience desired
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and have the ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks
