Responsibilities:
* Pay bills timely and maintain electronic backups of invoices and receipts.
* Maintain cash deposits from online sources, checks, cash and ACH deposits and maintain electronic backups of income documents.
* Record all income and expenses in Quickbooks Online.
* Enter approved invoices to be paid in Quickbooks Online and create checks.
* Make manual Bank Deposits.
* Record entries for financial reporting purposes.
* Maintain grant tracking spreadsheet with grant expenses.
* Research and implement automation of transactions from the bank account to Quickbooks Online, to Donor Database/Little Green Light, and other relevant software tools.
* Make recommendations to improve efficiencies in Quickbooks Online to improve recordkeeping and compliance for nonprofit best practices.
* Other duties as required to improve processes for financial transactions and administration.
Requirements:
* Experience with QuickBooks, specifically QuickBooks Online
* Non-profit accounting/grant management experience
* Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office, especially Excel expertise and databases
* Must pass an annual criminal background check and have reliable transportation.
