*The Position:*
We are looking for an AP Coordinator to join our growing accounting team.
This position will report to the Accounting Manager and is based in Oak Creek, WI.

Responsibilities:
· Primary accounts payable contact for vendors, management and other internal departments
· Daily monitoring of the accounts payable email inbox
· Partner with the purchasing department to resolve discrepancies between the PO and invoice
· Perform vendor due diligence by verification of business, tax identification, independently verifying bank details and obtaining necessary approvals
· Maintain vendor information including W-9 and prepare annual 1099’s for distribution
· Facilitate weekly payments to vendors via ACH or check
· Knowledge of proper G/L coding for A/P invoices
· Regular reconciliation of vendor statements
· Fulfill ad hoc requests from internal customers and leadership team
Skills:

· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Excel proficiency
· Experience with Microsoft NAV
· Ability to balance urgency/timeliness with accuracy
Requirements:
· High school diploma required; Business or Accounting degree preferred.
· Prior accounts payable or accounting experience highly preferred.
· Bilingual Spanish English a plus
