*Electronics Technician*
*Job Summary*
UID is seeking an electronics technician responsible for building, testing, and repairing low-voltage electronic systems and devices.
This role requires hands-on experience using various tools to analyze system components and circuitry.
To succeed in this position, you should also be able to create and follow complex technical documents, lead a production team, and work closely with engineers to increase production quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities
* Lead production team and quality assurance
* Build, test, and repair electronic systems and devices
* Fill out and maintain record of test reports
* Comprehend and follow technical manuals and diagrams
* Create and update technical manuals and test reports
* Collaborate with engineers and other professionals on technical tasks
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience as an electronic technician or similar role
* Proficiency with tools used to build and repair systems (e.
g.
soldering iron)
* Proficiency with tools used to debug and test systems (e.
g.
Multi meter)
* Proficiency with MS Office and diagnostic software (e.
g.
Tera Term)
* Excellent documentation and record keeping skills

* An associate’s degree or apprenticeship as electronics technician
*Education*
* High School diploma, equivalency, or greater
*Location*
* Full Time On Site in Lake Villa, IL.
7-4 Monday – Friday
