*The Position: *We are looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator, we specialize in excavation and grading, site development, water/sewer lateral, demolition and commercial snow removal.
Applicants must have equipment operating experience, be hard working, reliable and a team player.
Applicants must also have a current driver’s license and clean driving record.
*The Candidate:*
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be of good physical condition to perform the work required outdoors.
- Operates all equipment necessary for excavation, backfilling excavations, or compacting and leveling soil to grade specifications
- Must be able to operate excavators, loaders, dump trucks, backhoes and other assigned equipment safely and efficiently
- Ability to fuel, oil, maintain, clean, and inspect equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Employee must be able to sit in the same position for up to 12 hours a day and requires repetitive motion of upper extremities operating controls.
Operators may be required to help laborers and to work extended hours during construction season.
