Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Compounder to join our team.
As a Compounder, you will be responsible for manufacturing and blending various products according to established procedures and guidelines.
This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring the quality and consistency of our products.
Duties:
- Operate and maintain equipment used in the compounding process, such as mixers, blenders, and mills
- Measure and weigh ingredients accurately to ensure proper formulation
- Follow batch records and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Monitor and adjust process parameters as needed to achieve desired product specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work area to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Package finished products according to specifications
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols at all times
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certification is a plus
- Previous experience as a Compounder or in a related field preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is desirable
- Familiarity with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) is a plus
- Ability to operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Proficient in materials handling techniques, including forklift operation
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
