*Job Description: *
The Inside Sales Engineer facilitates the completion of customer quotations by providing administrative support to Sales and Engineering.
This involves managing to customer deadlines, identifying the need & obtaining quotations for outside services, and assisting with the creation of detailed cost breakdown forms.
Additionally, the associate will act as a (Sales) liaison to the Production team for various other order fulfillment issues or customer interests.
*Primary Responsibilities Include (But are not limited to):*
· Prepare quotation documents (with data support from Engineering & Management)
· Regular email and Phone communication with Customers
· Track & communicate status on RFQ pipeline of activities: due-dates, priorities, etc.
· Occasional travel to assist Sales team on Customer visits
· Provide prompt and thorough follow through on all customer interactions
· Solicit quotations for outside products or services pertaining to a Customer RFQ
· Coordinate with Production to assist with general order fulfillment needs of the Customer
· Prepare and deliver technical presentations to existing and prospective Customers
· Project Management

· Strong networking, listening, and relationship development skills
· BA or BS from a four-year university, OR equivalent work experience
· Strong organization and recordkeeping
· Basic proficiency with MS Office suite of applications, especially Excel and ERP software
· Able to provide technical solutions that meets Customer needs
_Preferred_
· Industry experience in Automotive, Industrial, Electrical System Hardware, or other Mechanical Systems markets
· Experience in or around a manufacturing environment
· Experience in the spring and wireform industry
