Fischer Paper Products is seeking a Marketing Intern to join us in our corporate office in Antioch, IL.
This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Marketing at a growing manufacturing company.
This is a part-time, temporary position, working onsite between 20 and 30 hours per week for approximately 8 weeks from late May to early August.
Our office is a business casual work environment and is onsite with our state-of-the-art manufacturing and warehouse operations.
This role will assist the marketing team a with a number of projects including:
Collecting quantitative and qualitative data from prospective customers and competitors ·
Researching and analyzing trends in the foodservice industry and of foodservice packaging in market · Inputting customer information into CRM (e.
g.
, Salesforce) ·
Preparing marketing presentations and sample kits based on company needs
Assisting in marketing campaign activities to promote the awareness of Fischer
Assisting in Sales event planning (e.
g.
, tradeshows, customer meetings, industry events)
Creating content for social media campaign calendar · Helping support Fischer team and community events & charitable activities
Supporting the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
Organization of product sample area
The ideal candidate will have
2 -3 years college coursework in Marketing, Business or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Strong data analytical skills
Strong organization and time management skills
Prior experience in an office environment or the food service industry is welcome but not a requirement.
