Residential Property Manager

is looking for an experienced Residential Property Manager to oversee a 101-unit affordable housing complex in Gurnee, IL.
Affordable housing experience is a plus, but not a necessity.
Apply today! *Job Summary* The property manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the assigned LIHTC property.
*Reports To:* This role reports to the President.
*Supervision:* This role oversees the property’s personnel (maintenance technician).
*Functions/Responsibilities:* · Manage all aspects of assigned property · Maintain all paperwork, ensuring it’s up to date and compliant · Inspect and arrange maintenance to meet industry required standards · Maintain a positive, productive relationship with all residents · Complete lease/contracts with residents in a timely and reliable manner · Advertise and market vacant units to attract new residents · Maintain resident ledgers with the goal of minimizing past due balances · Accomplish company set goals and report periodically on performance · Other duties as assigned *Competencies:* · 2 years’ experience as property manager or related role · Full understanding of property management and its financial aspects · In-depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management, specifically LIHTC · Competency in Onesite and relevant databases and software · Customer focus and bottom-line orientation · Strong interpersonal and communication skills · Well organized with excellent time management skills *Education:* · High school diploma or equivalent Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.
