Arbor Management a privately held Illinois based, Food Service Management Company, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of *Food Service Director Riverview School -Silver Lake JT1 District.
* *This is a 44-week salaried position; summer school hours are paid on an hourly pay rate based on the hourly rate of the salary*.
This position is responsible for supervising all food service operational activities and food service employees within the district including catering, food ordering and inventory, client relationships, meeting or exceeding target budget goals and monitoring all State and Federal requirements for the National School breakfast & Lunch Program for multiple schools within the School District.
Applicant must have a degree from an accredited college or university *OR* an equal equivalent level of applicable food service management experience.
The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, demonstrate knowledge of cooking techniques, proper food handling, basic accounting and money handling skills; and managing and on boarding employees.
Must have a current State of Illinois Sanitation Certificate or obtain within 60 days.
Extensive knowledge of the National School Breakfast & Lunch Program is a plus.
This is a 44-week position.
No nights, weekends and holidays!
