org Position Details Position Start Date As soon as possible Terms/Schedule Variable shifts, nights, weekends Appointment Type Part Time Description Water Safety Instructors (swim instructors) are responsible for: Creating and implementing lesson plans for assigned classes Maintaining the safety of students in assigned classes Teaching lessons to students from 6 months of age and up based off of appropriate Red Cross skills Communicating effectively with both students and parents Responsible for inputting all class information into the Red Cross Learning Center for assigned classes Maintain swimming abilities to a level 4 standard in all 6 strokes Assist management and pool staff with tasks as needed Must be at least 16 years of age Must be able to swim all 6 strokes at a demonstration quality level Must be able to get and maintain a Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification Must be able to get and maintain a Red Cross Lifeguard certification Candidate Requirements Additional Requirements Cover Letter Resume
