*Summary:*
The Project Engineer is responsible for a variety of engineering-related projects and tasks for Slipform Machinery.
You will drive, new, current, and future engineering projects, which involve developing the scope of work, timeline creation, budgetary costing, designing manufactured parts, machine/component assemblies, 2D dimensional drawings, testing and analysis of results, and overall project recap with management team after project completion.
*Job Responsibilities:*
* Organize and control engineering projects.
* Develop project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans and discussing them with management.
* Identify project phases and elements, assign personnel, and review contractor bids to determine project responsibilities.
* Study product design, customer requirements, and performance standards to determine project specifications.
* Design and conduct tests to confirm product performance.
(Design Simulation Analysis and Physical Testing)
* Study project plan and specifications, calculate time requirements, sequence project elements to determine project schedule, and calculate budgetary costs.
* Monitor project progress, coordinate activities, and resolve problems to maintain project schedule.
* Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends, and recommend actions to prepare project status reports to vendors and management.
*Qualifications / Skills:*
* Analyze requirements, design skills, project management, manufacturing methods and procedures, process improvement, technical understanding, documentation skills, SolidWorks 3D software.
* Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or other related discipline or experience as a Project Engineer.
* 2+ years of project experience working in the manufacturing industry.
* Experience with machine assembly processes
* Proficient with MS Office Suite of tools
