*Overview*
This position has been created to ensure the sanitation of the plant and equipment.
The employee will be responsible for sanitation of all work centers following weekly, monthly, bi-annual, and annual procedures.
This list is not all inclusive and additional duties may be added as needed.
_*Shift Availability: 2nd shift (3pm-11pm)*_
*Responsibilities:*
* Ensure that all processing equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized to established standards.
* Maintain plant cleanliness in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety Systems
* Follow all sanitation equipment and chemical guidelines
* Clean machine parts and return to proper locations
* Follow instructions listed in the Standard Sanitation Operations Procedure binder located at each work center
* Sweep / Sanitize floors using floor scrubber in warehouse and plant floors
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
* Willingness to learn
* Work scheduled overtime
* Good attendance is a must
*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:*
* Knowledge of general sanitation in a food production environment
* Operate a floor scrubber and Sky Lift
* General knowledge of machine operation
* Knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures
* Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
*Physical Requirements:*
* Ability to lift 50 lbs.

*Environmental Conditions*
* Personal protective equipment will be provided by the Company including, but not limited to glasses, goggles, welding masks, gloves, aprons and hearing protection.
Appropriate PPE IAW the NFPA regulations is also required.
The workplace is air-conditioned, heated and well lit.
