Shift Manager Duties & Responsibilities:
Managing Staff: You will be responsible for managing and supervising the staff during your shift, ensuring they provide excellent service to guests.
Training: You will train new staff members and provide ongoing training to current staff members to ensure they meet the expectations of the restaurant.
Scheduling: You will be responsible for creating the shift schedules for your team, making sure that all shifts are covered and that there is adequate staffing during peak hours.
Inventory Management: You will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring that the restaurant has the supplies needed to operate efficiently during your shift.
Customer Service: You will interact with customers, resolving complaints and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Monitoring Operations: You will oversee all operations during your shift, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and that all safety, health, and sanitation guidelines are being followed.
Cash Management: You will be responsible for managing cash and credit card transactions, reconciling receipts and ensuring accurate cash handling procedures are followed.
Sales Tracking: You will track sales and monitor revenue goals, working with the restaurant's management team to ensure targets are being met.
Communication: You will be responsible for communicating with the restaurant's management team, reporting on daily operations and addressing any issues that arise during your shift.
Cleaning: You will ensure that the restaurant is cleaned and organized during and at the end of your shift, ensuring that all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard.
