*Job Description:*
We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Infant Teacher Assistant to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about early childhood development and who thrives in a collaborative, supportive environment.
You will work closely with our lead teachers to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing space for our youngest learners.
*Responsibilities:*
Assist in the planning and implementation of a comprehensive infant care program that supports the emotional, social, and cognitive development of infants aged 6 weeks to 12 months.
Provide attentive, high-quality care to meet the individual needs of infants, including feeding, diapering, and naptime routines.
Engage infants in age-appropriate activities that promote motor skills and sensory experiences.
Foster a warm, safe, and stimulating environment where infants can explore and grow.
Collaborate with lead teachers and parents to ensure consistent care and communication regarding each child's progress.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the infant classroom and materials.
Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
*Qualifications:*
High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.
Previous experience working with infants in a childcare setting.
Knowledge of child development and early childhood best practices.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
Must pass a background check.
