*POSITION SCOPE* Scherrer Construction is looking for a responsible and ambitious Administrative Assistant to ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.
This position will be responsible for performing a variety of office administrative tasks and providing support for several departments.
*RESPONSIBILITIES* * Answer and direct incoming calls, greet visitors and perform front desk receptionist duties.
* Collect, distribute, and post daily mail and express mail, and route invoices.
* Perform basic filing and maintain filing system.
* Maintain inventory and order office supplies.
* Become familiar with office equipment and phone system and act as point of contact.
* Provide departmental support to: * Leadership team for professional correspondence, scheduling meetings, and project assistance.
* Project estimator for construction project bids processing.
* Marketing department for event support, proposal production, data entry & special projects.
* Other department assistance as needed.
*EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS* * High school diploma, college degree is a plus.
* Proven experience as an administrative assistant; experience in the construction industry a plus.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint.
Experience with Microsoft Teams is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Good problem-solving and time management skills with the ability to prioritize work.
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task.
* Enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is able to contribute effectively to team projects.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $40,000.
