Data Entry Administrative Assistant Job description We are looking for a responsible administrative assistant to perform various administrative and clerical tasks.
The duties of the administrative assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting with daily office needs, and managing our company’s general administrative activities.
All strong candidates will enjoy filling the role of being helpful to others.
Primary Responsibilities * Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
* Answer, screen, and direct phone calls, instant messages, chat messages, and direct messages via a variety of platforms * Receive, disseminate, and file mail, email, interoffice forms, and memos.
* Assemble marketing packages and promotional materials.
* Organize and schedule appointments.
* Plan meetings, whether virtual or in person, and take detailed minutes * Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms * Assist in preparing reports and schedules using a variety of business platforms, logins, and technology.
* Develop and maintain a filing system, whether paper or electronic, as appropriate.
* Update and maintain office policies and procedures.
* Maintains the database by entering new and updated customer and account information.
* Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information.
* Establishes entry priorities.
* Maintain contact lists.
* Book travel arrangements and reservations as needed.
* Submit and reconcile expense reports and timecards.
* Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients.
* Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers.
* Spreadsheet maintenance and manipulation, basic knowledge of pivot tables preferred * Ability to organize information within spreadsheets or other appropriate formats * Knowledge of various business systems including EDI for retail orders, WMS for inventory monitoring Data Entry Administrative Assistance Qualifications and Skills * Proven experience as an administrative assistant, virtual assistant, or office administrative assistant * Knowledge of office management systems, procedures, and software * Working knowledge of computers, the internet, and social media * Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines * Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint, amongst others) * Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work * Attention to detail and problem-solving skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task * Associate Degree preferred Job Type: Full-time Salary: $17.
