Metalmaster Roofmaster is a large commercial roofing and sheet metal contractor located in McHenry, Illinois that is seeking a candidate, for an immediate, full time position of Project Accountant.
We are looking for a skilled Project Accountant to contact clients and collect outstanding payment.
You will strike balance between maintaining trustful relationships and ensuring timely payments.
Our Project Accountant should exhibit professionalism and trustworthiness.
You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as an ability to work independently.
*Responsibilities of the Position*
* Knowledge of collections (AR)
* Be able to make calls to collect money
* Project Set-up
* Weekly AIA billings
* Weekly financial projections
* Manage waivers, change orders, close-out documents
* Accounting clerical work
* Work with accounting management
* Cross-training in other roles
*Qualifications*
* Good time management is required
* Communication skills, verbal and written
* Critical thinking and problem solving ability
* Proficient in Microsoft Office business applications, as well as advanced computer skills
* Knowledge of Accounting programs, such as Vista, QB, and ACT!
* Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
* Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet agreed upon deadlines
* Possess good judgment and attention to detail
* Energetic and positive attitude
*Hours (Full-time):* Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
*Salary:* Salary depends on qualifications and previous compensation history will be considered.
